Welcome! I am an Economist working on environmental macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy and inequality. I use structural general equilibrium models to study how climate policy interacts with monetary and fiscal policy, and how its costs are distributed across households.

I am a Research Affiliate at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) (DE) and a Research Fellow at the Chair of Environmental and Mineral Economics (CEME) at the Université d'Orléans (FR).

I received my Ph.D. in Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) in 2026 from the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the IWH, where I also contributed to the IWH forecast reports and co-organized the IWH-CIREQ-GW-BOKERI Macroeconometric Workshop. In Spring 2024, I visited Georgia State University hosted by Garth Heutel.

I am on the 2026/27 job market.

October 2026: I joined CEME at the Université d'Orléans as a Research Fellow and IWH as a Research Affiliate.
July 2026: I defended my Ph.D. dissertation, "Environmental Macroeconomics: Distributional Effects, Fiscal Policies, and the Role of Central Banks."

October 2025: "Road to Net Zero: Carbon Policy and Redistributional Dynamics in the Green Transition" is out in the IWH Discussion Papers series, [working paper]

2026: I presented "Road to Net Zero" at the University of Valencia Research Seminar (May), and joint work with G. Heutel and G. Melkadze, "Climate Policy Uncertainty and Heterogeneous Effects," at the 3CMFI in Frankfurt (March), WCERE in Lisbon (June/July), and the EEA Congress in Dublin (August).
